rtk launches an industry-wide campaign for travel agencies

Burghausen, February 9, 2026. With its industry-wide campaign “Travel Agencies Make a Difference,” rtk has taken a clear stand: in support of brick-and-mortar sales and personalized advice, and against a one-sided focus on price and cashback in the travel market. The campaign has now launched and brings together a variety of concrete initiatives through which rtk supports travel agencies in their day-to-day business. “Travel agencies are under considerable pressure today—especially from aggressive cashback models,” says rtk Managing Director Thomas Bösl. “Our approach is deliberately different: We don’t rely on ever-higher rebates, but on what truly makes travel agencies strong: expertise, proximity, trust, and genuine customer relationships.”
